Stephen is the youngest son of a Jewish father and a Roman Catholic mother. As a kid he preferred no particular religion, but instead did whatever seemed right in his own eyes. This all changed when he was sixteen years old. Although he heard the gospel from a neighbor many times before, he ignored it. But when he was nearly 17, he heard a gospel presentation from a pastor, which really got him thinking about his eternal fate for the first time. Over the next six months, he was searching for more answers, and when he was 17½, he received Jesus Christ as Lord.
His life was marked by a divine transformation known in the Bible as conversion. He served in the teaching ministry as early as 20 years old, and became a pastor in 2008 at 30 years old. In 2007, he earned a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2017, he completed his Masters of Divinity at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2022, he completed a Master of Theology (Th.M) from Gateway Seminary, specializing in the exegesis and hermeneutics of early Judaism and its intersection with New Testament exegesis and hermeneutics.
He is married to Bonny and they have been blessed thus far with two children: Rachel and Hadassah. In addition to being a pastor, is a Chaplain in the United States Army Reserve, holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He current serves in the 311th Theater Signal Command.
We Destroy Arguments
Have you ever had your faith challenged by an unbeliever to where you felt helpless and without an answer? If so, this book is for you. Whether the challenge comes from unsaved loved ones, co-workers, college professors, or TV personalities, you can be certain that such challenges will come to every Christian. Knowing this, the Bible commands every Christian to be ready. The purpose of this book is to help Christians to always be prepared to make a defense for the hope that is within them (1Peter 3:15).
