God saved me by his providential grace alone on Easter Sunday of 2013, leading me to get baptized that same Summer. Since then, I have had the desire to grow in my knowledge and love for God alongside my love for others by living a life worthy of the gospel. Overtime, the aspiration to become a pastor came to mind. So to affirm whether this calling was from God, I went to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at The Master’s University (2021) and am currently working on a Master of Intercultural Studies at Gateway Seminary of the Southern Baptist Convention. As a result, the Lord in his sovereignty opened up the door to not only be discipled and serve at Sovereign Way but be raised up as a pastor too. So after getting ordained as an elder in 2022, I am currently serving full-time at Sovereign Way. Now, my greatest desire is to be a faithful shepherd-leader that feeds and equips the sheep to make disciples of all the nations.
