Sovereign Way believes in Biblical or Nouthetic Counseling. Our goal in providing biblical counseling is to help people meet the challenges of life in a way that will please and honor the Lord Jesus Christ and allow them to enjoy fully His love for them and His plans for their life. We believe that the Bible provides thorough guidance and instruction for faith and life. (2 Peter 1:3; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17) Therefore, our counseling is based solely on scriptural principles rather than those of secular psychology or psychiatry. Our counsel is religious in nature, conducted under the authority and leadership of Sovereign Way Christian Church. Biblical Counseling discerns desires, thinking, and behavior that God wants to change. The way such desires, thinking, and behavior changes is by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. One of our pastors is a certified nouthetic counselor by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
